A story on NPR’s The Takeaway interviews Matthew Grizzard, assistant professor of communication, about the debate over whether the public should have access to footage of mass shootings like the one in a church in Texas on Nov. 5. “It’s not that there aren’t costs associated related to releasing the footage, it’s that there might also be costs associated with not releasing it,” he said.
