An Associated Press article about the consistently poor favorability ratings of the leading candidates in the Republican and Democratic races, who just cannot get voters to say they like them, quotes Jacob Neiheisel, assistant professor of political science, who called the favorability ratings “fairly abysmal.” “They’re some of the lowest candidate ratings in quite some time, if not since they’ve been tracking that question,” he said.
