A story on WKBW-TV featured students from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences who founded an organization, Prescription4Warmth, that provides donated hats, gloves and socks to frostbite victims when they leave Erie County Medical Center. “Part of why we both went into medicine was to help people and the Buffalo community,” said Chelsey Ciambella, who started the organization with Steve Gangloff; both are fourth-year medical students. A story also ran on WGRZ-TV, and a photo appeared in the Buffalo News, which is not available online.
