An article in International Business Times about Donald Trump and the conundrum he has posed for the Republican Party establishment since he entered the 2016 presidential race, as well as the growing backlash over his latest comments calling for the U.S. to ban all Muslims from entering the country, quotes James E. Campbell, professor of political science. “It’s up to the establishment to make their case, and their case can’t just be about criticizing Trump,” he said. “They have to make a positive appeal that [Marco] Rubio or someone else is a better option.”
