An article in the New York Daily News about a decision by a U.S. appeals court that upholds a 2014 ruling that NCAA policies that restrict payments to college athletes violate antitrust laws quotes Nellie Drew, a UB sports law expert, who said she was alerted to the ruling during a class by a student. “Made for interesting dialog,” she said. “We’d already gone over the case in class.”
