UB alumnus donates $30 million to medical school

An article in the Chronicle of Philanthropy reports Jeremy Jacobs, his wife Margaret and their family are giving $30 million to UB’s medical school, which will be named the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and is UB’s first naming gift. Articles on the gift also appeared in news outlets that include Comcast SportsNet, NBC New York, Associated Press markets, Canadian Business, ESPN in the UK, the San Francisco Chronicle and Bloomberg Radio.
