Jindal faces challenges standing out

James Campbell, professor of political science, is quoted in an article in USA Today about Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal’s announcement that he is running for the Republican nomination for president. “He’s clearly a second-tier candidate at this point,” he said. “Like all those in the second tier, he’s got to have something that would cause him to stand out from the pack and maybe hope that a few others of the less likely candidates drop out and he can attract support. The article also appeared in Louisiana’s Daily Advertiser, Alexandria Town Talk, Opelousas Daily World and Monroe News Star.
