NPR interviews UB president about Obama visit to campus

UB President Satish K. Tripathi was interviewed on NPR’s “All Things Considered” program for a story about President Obama’s bus tour of New York and Pennsylvania, which began this morning at UB, to talk about ways to make college more affordable. “This is a proud and historic occasion for our university and community,” said Tripathi, who noted that UB earns high marks on the administration’s college scorecard for its relatively low-cost tuition and its high graduation rate.
