Former congressman Bob Inglis of South Carolina will speak at UB on Thursday about free enterprise solutions to climate change.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Former Republican congressman Bob Inglis of South Carolina will speak at the University at Buffalo on Thursday about free enterprise solutions to climate change policy.

Members of the media are invited to cover Inglis’ talk, which will be followed by a question-and-answer session. The event is free and open to the public, and is being co-sponsored by UB Sustainability and the UB chapter of Young Americans for Liberty.

“Climate change is real, and Bob Inglis understands that. This event is about broadening the dialogue and increasing our inclusiveness to find solutions to one of the greatest challenges facing the planet,” said Ryan McPherson, UB’s chief sustainability officer.
