BUFFALO, N.Y. — University at Buffalo fans who didn’t snag a ticket to the Bulls’ March Madness games this week will catch the action at watch parties across Buffalo Niagara and beyond.

The events will be hosted Thursday evening for the men’s basketball team’s first-round NCAA tournament game, and Friday afternoon for the women’s.

A list of watch parties for both games is available at http://bit.ly/1UiDNe9.

Highlights include an on-campus viewing party for the women’s game at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 18 in the lobby of the Student Union on UB’s North Campus. Hosted by UB’s Office of Student Life, the event will feature food, giveaways, prizes and a visit from Victor E. Bull. All members of the UB community are invited.

Western New York venues hosting watch parties for both games range from (716) Food and Sport in Buffalo to The Warehouse in Hamburg and Stir at Seneca Niagara Resort in Niagara Falls. Santora's Pizza Pub and Grill will be showing the games at its Millersport and Transit locations.

Nationwide, fans will gather at bars in New York City, Dallas, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

The men's team, making its second straight trip to the Big Dance, will play Miami on Thursday, March 17 at 6:50 pm in Providence, Rhode Island. The game will air on TNT.

The women's team is playing in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history and will battle Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, March 18 at 2:30 pm on ESPN2.

UB pride on social media

On social media, Bulls fans can show their UB pride — and their horns up — by updating their Facebook cover photo with a NCAA basketball and UB-themed photo frame.

With Victor E. Bull leading the charge, UB basketball fans across the world are encouraged to cheer on the teams as the sixth man and share photos of themselves or others with their horns up.

The photo frame — found here on Facebook — can be used on other social media accounts as well, including Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. And if fans tag their image with the #UBDancing hashtag, UB will give them a shoutout to the rest of the Bulls Nation.
