UB Police Investigating Robbery

University Police are investigating a robbery reported October 11 at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Rensch Road near the Audubon Parkway intersection.

The victim was approached from behind and shoved to the ground. The suspect was described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, medium build, in his late 20s to early 30s, with short black hair and thin goatee. The suspect was wearing blue jeans and black fleece with a white undershirt. He was last seen running westbound on Rensch Road towards Sweet Home Road.

Members of the university community are reminded to stay alert to their surroundings and always travel with other people. When possible, use the Anti-Rape Task Force escort program or other UB transportation services.
