Zodiaque Continues Anniversary Season with "Celebration 30 -- Dances On"

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo Department of Theatre and Dance will present Zodiaque Dance Company on Feb. 12-15 and Feb. 19-21 in the Drama Theater in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus.

Zodiaque Dance Company continues its celebratory performance season, in the spirit of its past concert "Celebration 30," with "Celebration 30 -- Dances On." The company, housed in the UB Department of Theatre and Dance, boasts a tradition of excellence by providing solid educational and performance experiences for its student members. To conclude this 30th-anniversary year, "Celebration 30 -- Dances On" will premiere four new works with choreography by guest Zodiaque alumnus Doug Weyand, and faculty works by Lynne Kurdziel-Formato, William E. Thomas and company director, Tom Ralabate. Other featured repertory will include works from Zodiaque alumni, Joe Celej, Sheri Celentano and Roberto Villanueva's work "Inevitabilities," selected to represent UB at this year's American College Dance Festival, to be held at Slippery Rock University, Pa.

General admission for all performances is $15, and $6 for students and seniors. Tickets are available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Center for the Arts Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations, including Kaufmann's.
