BUFFALO, N.Y. -- With the exception of three field trips, the programs will be held from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in Room 215 of the Natural Sciences Complex on UB's North (Amherst) Campus.
Speakers from UB and other area institutions and industries provide information on new, exciting scientific developments that can be incorporated into the classroom.
The series was begun in 1969 by its director, George H. Nancollas, D.Sc., SUNY Distinguished Professor in the Department of Chemistry in the UB College of Arts and Sciences.
Co-directors are Stephen Free, Ph.D., UB professor of biology, and Charles Mitchell, Ph.D., UB professor of geology.
