The UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, through a collaborative agreement with the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), has created an Opioid Prescriber Training Program to help licensed prescribers within the state meet educational requirements.


Acclaimed printmaker Stella Ebner will make presentations on Feb. 18 and March 3 as part of her residency in UB’s Creative Arts Initiative.


Researchers will tackle urban infrastructure and groundwater, air pollution, green infrastructure and stormwater management, and development of lower-cost solar cells.


In celebration of National Children’s Dental Health Month, the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine will provide screenings or oral health education to local kids through its two annual programs, Give Kids a Smile Day and Smile Education Day. 


The UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Utica College have formed a new agreement that will provide students the opportunity to earn a doctor of pharmacy degree (PharmD) in a shorter amount of time. 


The University at Buffalo is assessing the executive order and is actively monitoring the order’s potential impact on UB students, faculty, staff and visiting scholars who are from countries cited in the order.


The grant also funds research centers in geographic information and in education innovation at UB.


The online course will help bolster Buffalo’s status as a nationwide leader in advanced manufacturing.


The awards will support projects designed to boost economic development in Western New York.
