Baby boomers can learn how to protect their hard-earned assets
and guarantee a steady income for the rest of their lives through a
new book by Lewis Mandell, PhD, professor emeritus of finance and
managerial economics in the University at Buffalo School of
Buffalo, N.Y.—The John R. Oishei Foundation has made a gift of $5 million to the University at Buffalo to support construction of the new UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences building on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.

2013-14 class of the West Seneca Central School District’s
Academy of Life Sciences.

to Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo’s groundbreaking START-UP NY
initiative, which creates tax-free zones for certain businesses in
university communities across the state.
The University at Buffalo and Launch NY announce the debut of a
new website connecting current and would-be entrepreneurs to
upstate New York resources that offer assistance in starting,
growing and managing a business.
As announced today during Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo’s State of
the State address, UB will partner with the recently opened New
York Genome Center (NYGC) in Manhattan to accelerate recent
advances in genomic medicine directly into clinical care.
