BUFFALO, N.Y. – A team of two seniors and two juniors in the University at Buffalo School of Management has won the annual On Target Undergraduate Club Case Competition, sponsored by Target Corporation.
By winning the Midwest Super Regional Round of the Phillip C.
Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the University at
Buffalo Law School has advanced to the International Round of the
renowned global competition, to be held April 6-12 in Washington,
A University at Buffalo team won second place and another UB
team was awarded Best Respondent Brief when the UB Law School sent
10 2L and 3L students to compete in the Northeast Regional Round of
the national Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition (FDMCC) Jan.
22-26 in Albany.

Pediatrics in the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and
Biomedical Sciences, has received a major national award for her
groundbreaking research from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Steven J. Fliesler, PhD, Meyer H. Riwchun Endowed Chair
Professor of Ophthalmology in the University at Buffalo School of
Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, has been honored by the
Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) as a
2014 ARVO Gold Fellow.
