An article in USA Today on Eastman Kodak’s
bankruptcy filing, which has caused huge cuts to pay, benefits and
insurance coverage for retirees and employees, quotes Martha
Salzman, assistant professor of accounting and law in the
UB School of Management.
The article states that to date more than two dozen separate law firms, accounting firms and others associated with the company’s bankruptcy have submitted billing statement totaling nearly $125 million, and quotes Salzman as saying, “That doesn’t shock me. Bankruptcy’s expensive.”
