Kim Griswold is an expert on health care for diverse patient populations, including for refugees, immigrants and survivors of torture.

Her clinical practice focuses on comprehensive care of seriously mentally ill adults. She also provides volunteer primary care for refugee and immigrant populations, and has served as medical director of a program that serves survivors of political and state-sponsored torture living in Western New York.

As a researcher and teacher, Griswold is interested in training the next generation of medical professionals to care for vulnerable populations such as patients living in poverty, seeking asylum and/or recovering from trauma. She is also focused on expanding patient-centered medical home models of practice in underserved regions.
