Arun Jain, PhD, is an expert in retailing and marketing, especially supermarket retailing. He can discuss topics ranging from shopping malls to convenience and superstores, from the Christmas retail season to the appeal of new products. He has taught and consulted all over the U.S., Europe and Asia. Jain has published studies on the use of coupons, what shoppers want in private-label brands and how the retail environment affects consumers’ perceptions of products. His current research focuses on alcoholic beverage consumption by households.
