Aditya Vedantam is an expert on the environmental impact of business operations, including sustainable procurement and supply chains. He can discuss how the way companies acquire raw materials, manufacture products and transport goods affects their carbon footprint, as well as strategies firms can use to increase profitability and social responsibility.

Vedantam is a member of UB teams that are researching ways to improve recycling for both plastics and used tires. He has also studied clean energy technology in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Critical Materials Institute. In addition, Vedantam’s research has explored fashion resale strategies, recycled content claims in various industries and how to stimulate demand for recycled products.
