Rao's recent research focuses on cybercurity of information and the use of company Web sites as advertising and marketing medium. He can also discuss the growing popularity of Internet shopping and the strategic use of emerging information technologies within various business settings.
Rao is co-editor-in-chief of "Information Systems Frontiers: A Journal of Research and Innovation" and is a researcher within UB's Center of Excellence in Information Systems Assurance Research and Education.
