Granger is director of the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSmr), the first international standard for measuring the effectiveness of medical rehabilitation. He also has served as a member of the expert panel to develop practice guidelines for stroke rehabilitation for the Center for Health Economics Research and as a member of the editorial board of the "American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation."
