A forensic psychologist, Ewing is author of "Kids Who Kill"(1990), which predicted juvenile homicide will reach epidemic proportions by the end of the decade. An earlier book, "Battered Women Who Kill: Psychological Self-Defense as Legal Justification" (1987), advocates legal change to allow battered women who kill their abusers to claim psychological self-defense as a legal justification for their actions. Writing "Fatal Families," a book about murder within the family, including parents who kill their children. Consultant and witness in criminal and domestic trials.
