Joe Brennan has served as the University at Buffalo’s associate vice president for university communications since 2008. He directs UB’s branding, marketing and public relations programs.  Joe has more than 20 years of experience as a senior public relations and marketing executive for colleges and universities.  He serves on the national executive committee of the Public Relations Society of America’s Counselors to Higher Education section.  Joe earned an MBA from University of the Pacific and a PhD in English from UB.  He’s an avid cycler who competes in road and cross county races in his free time.
