AP: History prof discusses China on the eve of the Olympics

Roger Des Forges, professor of history, is quoted in an article distributed by the Associated Press on the wave of troubles -- both natural and man-made -- that are plaguing China this year, which officials had hoped would instead be a year-long celebration of the Olympics in Beijing. The article was picked up by hundreds of national and international news outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post and Los Angeles Times.
