An article distributed by UPI reports a study conducted by the Research Institute on Addictions has found that gambling is widespread among U.S. adolescents and young adults ages 14 to 21, and quotes John Welte, principal investigator on the research, who said, "In a society where young people are increasingly exposed to gambling influences, there is cause for concern."
