What is the importance of booking at our official Annual Convention Hotel?

NeMLA is proud to have produced its Annual Convention for our members for the past 50 years. Financially, we are able to do this by reserving a large block of rooms with a hotel. In exchange, these hotels offer our attendees the guaranteed lowest group rate for rooms and provide us with complimentary meeting space to hold our annual meeting. But if we are unable to meet our guaranteed minimum number of registered guests, then NeMLA incurs a penality and has to pay for the unused rooms as well as room rental for the meeting space. This is a severe financial penalty for a non-profit. We therefore request your support as member by booking within our reserved blocks, helping us continue to produce this meeting for the next 50 years. We thank you for your support.
