The 48th annual NeMLA convention will take place in Baltimore, Maryland from March 23-26, 2017 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront.

Southwest Airlines is the official airline for NeMLA for 2017!

Everyday, Southwest Airlines flies more than 700 Boeing 737s for almost 4,000 flights across 98 destinations in the United States and seven additional countries, with service to Cuba beginning in December 2016. Destinations include New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, Orlando, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. At Southwest, passengers choose their own seats, and there are no charges for a passenger's first or second checked bag. Southwest flies to airports near NeMLA’s 2017 convention site in Baltimore: Baltimore/Washington International (BWI), Reagan International (DCA), and Dulles (IAD).

On Site Transportation

To and From Baltimore/Washington International Airport:

  • The MARC train runs from BWI airport to Baltimore Penn Station. Ticket are $5, after which a cab or Uber can take you to the hotel (Uber for $6-8, taxi for about $10).
  • Amtrak is another option (fluctuating prices).
  • Uber directly to the hotel is about $25.
  • Taxi cabs directly to the hotel are about $35-40.
  • Car services like Freedom Car are more expensive.
