Earlier this month, Interim Provost Bruce D. McCombe officially launched the search for the next dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The search committee held its preliminary organizational meeting on March 9, and is beginning to develop a position profile, advertisements, and a website in support of the search. To assist us with this effort and to help us understand the campus perspective on the search, we are scheduling two listening sessions at which members of the university community can share with the search committee thoughts and information important to our efforts in securing the very best candidates for the position.
Listening sessions have been scheduled as follows:
April 11, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. in 414 Bonner Hall, North Campus
April 12, 2012 from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in 101 Davis Hall (Agrusa Auditorium), North Campus
These sessions are open to the entire university community; no RSVP is required.
We also invite members of the university community to submit their input and questions to the search committee by email at email@example.com. We will continue to update you as the search progresses.
