Search Update

Dear UB friends and colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the scheduling of the remaining three finalists for the position of dean of the UB Law School. These candidates will be visiting campus on Monday, December 10 (Candidate 2), Friday, December 14 (Candidate 3), and Monday, December 17 (Candidate 3). The candidates’ names and CVs are available now in the “Candidates” link in the left side navigation bar. Information about the open meetings with these finalists will be available on this site at least two days prior to the candidates’ visits.
As mentioned in my previous update, the on-campus visits will include meetings with law faculty, senior staff, and students; alumni and other leaders of the legal community; and with senior university leaders. All interested individuals are welcome and encouraged to attend the open sessions that will be scheduled with each candidate. The search committee invites detailed feedback about candidates to be directed by email to the confidential search account, law-dean@vpsa.buffalo.edu.
We have an opportunity through this search to recruit an outstanding new dean to the UB Law School, the university, and the Buffalo Niagara region. The search committee appreciates the interest and participation of the university community in this recruitment process.
