My motto:

“Know who you are, explore yourself!”

What I’m studying at UB
Industrial and systems engineering

Why I chose the University at Buffalo
I applied to 10 U.S. schools and I was accepted to eight. I ended up choosing the University at Buffalo because it gave me a good scholarship, but also because I did my research, and the engineering school here is one of the best in the country.

My campus activities
There is so much to do at UB, it’s really easy to get involved! I’ve participated in the Real Experience and Leadership Mentoring (REALM) program, UB Sailing Club, Leadership and Community Engagement, UB chapter of the U.S. Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (that is open to everyone), the Student Association’s Haunted House and Involvement Fair and the Tabernacle Community Church. I’m also an International Admissions Student Ambassador, helping prospective international students go through the application process and learn about UB.

What I love about UB
UB has become my home away from home. I’d say to anyone that you should come here, because people are so friendly, the campus is incredibly diverse and everyone makes you feel comfortable. I have friends from the U.S. and from close to 20 other countries!
