Program Description

New media design teaches the technical and conceptual skills needed to effectively communicate ideas in today's multimedia environment. This includes basic design concepts for new media in order to communicate ideas and information effectively, interactive and non-interactive audio-visual design principles and skills for integrating images, animation, text and sound, practical skills needed for creating multimedia presentations, and collaborative practices flourishing within virtual communities and web-based media.
