Katarzyna Kordas, PhD Associate Professor, Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health Will be Presenting on Connections Between Diet and Metal Exposures in Urban Uruguayan Children
Topics of discussion will include:
- Foods and specific nutrients may protect children against exposure to toxic metals.
- Foods may also be the source of exposure to toxic metals.
- This talk will discuss links between diet and biomarkers of arsenic, cadmium and lead exposure among urban Uruguayan children.
