Majors and Minors

Devotion to our hometown teams runs deep, creating a strong civic bond among Western New Yorkers across all walks of life.

Our sports scene is not limited to football and hockey, however.

Enjoy baseball? Cheer on the Buffalo Bisons, a Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.

If lacrosse is your sport, root on the Buffalo Bandits, our championship National Lacrosse League team.

The Football Club of Buffalo plays a spring and early summer schedule at Robert E. Rich Sr. All High Stadium.

Buffalo has also hosted several major tournaments, including the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament regionals, the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship and the NCAA Frozen Four.
