CIGBS team in Harare Zimbabwe with Zvandiri Support Group.

The UB Center for Integrated Global Biomedical Sciences (CIGBS) turned two this past September! Over the past two years CIGBS has established an international scholar program, has done work with the Global Virus Network, the University of Zimbabwe, the University of the West Indies, and has even delved into Global cannabinoid drug development.

It uses education, training and research to promote novel discovery, maximize technology and foster translation. It works with international partners in addressing global health challenges and in recognizing the important connections between health and sustainable economic development.
