University at Buffalo
Presidential Inauguration

The Presidential Inaugural Celebration is a month-long university community celebration of UB discovery, UB creativity, UB leadership, and UB vision for the future.

Throughout the month of October, we hope you will join us often for unique performances, lectures, exhibitions, athletics, and other special events that highlight the depth and breadth of UB's distinctive impact on our world today. Details

The centerpiece of the Inaugural Celebration, the October 15, 2004 formal Investiture of John B. Simpson as the 14th President of the University at Buffalo, will bring together the university community—students, faculty, staff, family, and friends—in officially recognizing Dr. Simpson as University President. The Investiture will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Center for the Arts Mainstage Theater with a simultaneous live Webcast.

Join us at the University at Buffalo throughout the month of October for this special community celebration, and participate in the inauguration of a new era of excellence for UB.
