There are two types of advising reports: an Academic Advisement Report (ADV), and a What-If Report (WHIF). The layout of both reports is the same.
Use the Academic Advisement Report (ADV) for students who are continuing on with their Academic Program/Plan. To generate an Academic Advisement Report (ADV) refer to script AA-012: Accessing Academic Requirements (Academic Advisement Report) via Student Center.
Use the What-If Report (WHIF) for students who want to see how their courses will meet requirements for another or additional Academic Program/Plan. To generate a What-If Advising Report (WHIF) refer to script AA-012A: Request What-If Advising Report (WHIF) via Student Center. This job aid begins at the point at which you have already generated the What If Report.
The student's name and ID will appear at the top of the report.
To view the information chronologically, click on the When column header.
To collapse a section, click the Collapse section button. In this example it is the down arrow to the left of Course History.
