Log into MyUB with your UBITName and password. At the top, in a blue box, you will see a link that says HUB Student Center. Click the link and a new window will appear with your Student Center.
HUB Student Center works best with Internet Explorer. Also, for some of the features within your student center, such as producing an unofficial transcript, you must select “always allow” pop-ups in your browser. See Enabling Browser Pop-Ups (PDF) for instructions.
It is available daily from 7:00 am to 2:00 am EST. Please note there may be scheduled maintenance times where HUB will be down. Check our alerts.
Using the drop down menu under the Academics section, select Class Schedule. Then, select the term for the schedule you wish to view.
Each semester, you will be assigned an Enrollment Appointment. You can view your specific Enrollment Appointment on the front page of your Student Center in the blue boxes on the right-hand side. You will be assigned a date and time specific to you and will also see when open enrollment begins.
There are various reasons why you may be unable to register for a class:
All of these important features can be found in the Academics section by selecting the My Academics link or using the drop down menu to find the pages.
Please contact your department first, regarding all of your registration and enrollment concerns. You may also contact the Registrar’s office for specific concerns about your record.
The Wait List feature will allow eligible students wishing to register for a closed course to add themselves to a wait list. Students are assigned to a number position on the wait list, and will automatically be enrolled in the course as seats become available and will receive an email notification from the Office of the Registar. Students are responsible for removing themselves from the wait list, or dropping the course if they are no longer interested. Please see the following guides for additional information: Student Guide to Wait List and Wait List FAQ's.
Yes. You can find a PDF about this topic at http://www.buffalo.edu/hub/students/pdfs/WaitListFAQ.pdf
The amount due on the front page of your Student Center does NOT include anticipated financial aid. The amount due on the Account Inquiry screen does include anticipated aid. Lastly, if you click on Payment Options, this opens a new window and brings you to a site called QuikPay. The amount shown on your current statement in QuikPay may differ from the amounts in HUB because this is a snapshot on a specific date (invoice date) of your bill. Transactions may have occurred on your account after this date.
For a clear answer on what you owe and when, please refer to QuikPay. Click on Payment Options under the Finances section in your Student Center to get to the QuikPay site. Once there click on View Accounts on the left hand side and then Current Statement. This will bring you to a page that gives you an amount due, a due date, and a PDF document of your bill. Please remember that this is a snapshot on a specific date (Invoice Date) of your bill. Transactions may have occurred on your account after this date.
UB no longer sends out paper bills. You will receive e-bills to your buffalo.edu email account. If you do not pay your bill by the 3rd billing cycle you will receive a final paper bill in the mail. You can also opt to receive a text message when a bill is generated by going to the User Preference link within QuikPay.
Please follow the guide on how to pay your bill (PDF).
Please contact the Student Response Center, 232 Capen Hall.
You must forward your @buffalo.edu account to your personal email account. The university will not use personal email addresses to communicate with students and it is the student’s responsibility to check their @buffalo.edu account. Important information gets sent to this account so it is essential that you check it daily.
Make sure to put in the correct effective date. Note: A permanent address should rarely be changed in HUB. Students should only be updating their local and mailing addresses.
This symbol means that you have a hold or multiple holds on your account. For more information and how to resolve the hold(s) refer to the blue holds box on the right hand side of the screen and click Details. Holds can prevent you from actions such as registering for classes, getting a transcript, and receiving your refund check.
