Academic Structure

Academic Structure (AS) provides a foundation for all other modules. It sets up the university structure that is needed to support the business rules in the HUB. This module consists of a group of tables that defines how programs (including degrees, majors, specializations, and concentrations) are organized, as well as set up tables identifying the institution, departments, and calendars, among other basic structural items. AS decisions can influence the way all other values and tables relate and, in consequence, determine the way campus administrative processes work.
