1. Complete, sign, and return a Request for Letter of Introduction

The Letter of Introduction certifies to the lender that the applicant is eligible to participate in UB’s Home Loan Guaranty Program. The letter also states that if a loan is made, it will be guaranteed by the University at Buffalo Foundation, Inc.

The Office of Community Relations reviews the Letter of Introduction. If your employment status and property meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive a Letter of Introduction for presentation to the bank. If your employment status or property does not meet the eligibility criteria, you will be notified.
