Program Description

The community health and health behavior concentration under the Public Health MPH program prepares students to explore actions of individuals, groups and organizations from a scientific perspective to promote health. Students gain foundational public health knowledge and competencies, engage in theory-based analysis of the determinants of health behavior, and design, implement and evaluate evidence-based interventions for public health programs to address current and emerging public health issues across the globe.
