Students are encouraged to utilize the resources and information on the Office of Fellowships and Scholarships' website. However, other departments at UB and outside institutions can also serve as additional resources to our students and we urge you to leverage those as well.

Find On-campus Help Building Your Portfolio

  • Career Services. UB's office of Career Services can help you develop your resume/CV, record practice interviews and locate internships and volunteer opportunities
  • Center for Excellence in Writing. Find help writing personal statements, essays and proposals at UB's Center for Excellence in Writing.
  • Student Life. Get involved on and off campus. Search for clubs, organizations and workshops.
  • Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities. Looking for research?  Visit the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (CURCA) for more information.
  • Graduate Student Association (GSA). The GSA has a limited availability of funds to support graduate student research and conference attendance, and also offers editorial assistance.
