EH&S provides a variety of training courses:

EH&S provides a 1.5 hour class which meets the regulatory requirement of OSHA and PESH bloodborne pathogens standard for individuals with job duties that could cause them to come into contact with blood or other potentially infectious fluids.

This 1.5 hour class provides basic right-to-know training on hazardous chemicals and provides instructions on how to safety handle and package laboratory wastes.

This Hazard Communication and Right-to-Know online training program is intended for the entire New York State workforce and provides information employees need to know concerning the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazard Communication Standard, also called HCS or HazCom, and the New York State Right-to-Know Law. The responsibilities of supervisors, managers and other administrators in complying with the HazCom and Right-to-Know Law are described as well.

Mandatory annual training for personnel who access radiation posted areas (non-radiation workers).

Mandatory annual refresher training for personnel who use open sources of radioactive materials (radiation workers).
