Hazardous wastes generated in UB labs, shops, studios, etc., must be properly managed. EH&S administers a comprehensive program that ensures the University follows the applicable US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) hazardous waste regulations. For a detailed description of the hazardous waste program, refer to the EHS Laboratory Safety Manual (available by calling EH&S at 829-3301).
