Customer Service and Maintenance

Facilities and Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the buildings and grounds at the University at Buffalo. In addition, our units support campus departments with special needs for their work space as well as campus community events.

The staff of the Customer Service Department consists of operators, clerks and managers who will see that your business with University Facilities is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. They are there to answer your questions or direct you to someone who can. Here's how to request service:

Facilities Operations' Units:

  • Customer Service: Provides customers with a single point of contact for all physical plant services.
  • Operations Services: Provides customers with comprehensive support of projects, repairs, events, and numerous other services.
  • Utility Operations: Provides heating and cooling, and works to make UB greener and more efficient.
