Our Mission
The Division of External Affairs is charged with creating and strengthening the University at Buffalo’s relationships with important partners. It engages the community through public service outreach, including UB’s National Public Radio affiliate, 88.7 FM. It tells UB’s significant stories to build support among critical audiences through the work of the offices of Creative Services and News Services. The Office of Government Affairs works strategically with elected officials to maximize federal and state funding opportunities. The Office of Development and Alumni Relations coordinates outreach activities and initiatives with friends and donors, as well as UB’s more than 186,000 alumni around the world.
