Obtaining Assistance and Advice

The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) will speak with you confidentially to discuss concerns about classroom or workplace situations, assist with obtaining accommodations, and provide support.

Whether you are experiencing difficulties with a course instructor, are concerned about your work environment, would like to arrange for an accommodation based upon a disability or simply want to explore available options, the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) can meet with you to provide assistance, advice and options.

We can consult with you to ensure that you fulfill your obligations to prevent discrimination and harassment, and to provide reasonable accommodations.

UB promptly and effectively investigates situations involving sex discrimination and sexual harassment, and provides support to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking.  Whether or not you wish to proceed with a discrimination complaint, the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) can provide assistance to you.
