High School Equivalency Accelerated (HSE)

Days: Monday throght  Friday

Hours: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM 

 

The Program

Students will review the academic concepts and strategies that will help them to successfully pass the TASC. The primary focus of the program will be test preparation practice, test-taking technique, and study skills.

The High School Equivalency Preparation program combines two instructional components: High School Equivalency Preparation and High School Equivalency Practicum.

What to Expect

You will learn all of the subject areas included on the TASC, including:

  • Mathematics
  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Introduction to College/College Knowledge
  • Test Taking Skills/Study Skills/Review Lab

Earn Your Certification

Upon successful completion, students receive a Certificate of Completion from the State University of New York Buffalo Educational Opportunity Center.
