Search Update

Dear Colleagues,

The search for the dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences continues at a brisk pace. The first candidate completed a two day visit on April 4 and 5. Thank you to everyone who participated in the various meetings scheduled with him. The search committee invites and welcomes your input regarding the first candidate; please direct your comments via email as soon as possible to the confidential search email address, engineering-dean@vpsa.buffalo.edu.

The open session for the second candidate has been set for Thursday, April 13 at 9:45 a.m. in Capen 567. That candidate’s name and CV are currently available on the search web site.

I am pleased to announce that the third and fourth candidates have been scheduled for on-campus visits for April 13/14 and April 17/18 respectively. Specific information about those candidates, as well as the schedule for the open campus session with them will be available on the search web site by the end of the day on Friday, April 7.

Once again, I invite your participation in the meetings with the remaining candidates, and your input regarding each of the finalists. Thank you for your ongoing interest in this important search.
