Seeking students for both short and long-term commitments, studying the effects of gut bacteria on kidney function through both animal and human studies.

Project description

We are studying the effects of gut bacteria (gut microbiota) on kidney function through performing both animal and human studies. My main interest is in establishing the association between certain bacteria and the increased risk of heart disease in kidney failure. I am looking for both those who are interested in joining the lab for a short period of time to gain the experience and improve their CV, and also those who are welling to spend a year or more in the lab.
